One-on-One Coaching
Leaders and managers face a barrage of competing priorities, and at times feel stuck in an inescapable cycle of busy-ness. Or they may be in a place where they've "done it all" and are seeking the next stage. To gain or regain traction toward what matters most, some change is required, and along with it courage and commitment. One-on-one coaching is ideal for leaders/managers at any level who want to renew clarity and purpose, shore up their strengths and manage their weaknesses, and take steps toward the desired state.
We work with leaders/managers to:
· Transition into the role
· Focus on the most significant shift for growth and mastery
· Address beliefs or habits that limit performance and/or fulfillment
· Activate their own wisdom to optimize their growth and their team's
· Communicate a vision and engage others to translate it into visible outcomes
· Become more effective, confident, and authentic in day-to-day interactions
Participants in one-on-one coaching can benefit greatly from a 360 leadership assessment. We use the Leadership Circle Profile, one of the most reliable and leader-friendly tools on the market.
Team Facilitation
When it feels as though a team is in the doldrums, or when members diverge in their actions, productivity and cohesion decrease while other outcome show up: complacency, stress, or resentment. Team facilitation affords team members a safe environment to learn together, improve dialogue skills, support one another, and address issues that affect team morale and performance.
We help team members:
· Form a healthy team (agree on purpose, norms, work plans, expected outcomes, accountability, etc.)
· Develop confidence in communicating needs and hopes with each other
· Build healthy and productive relationships
· Have more productive meetings
· Collaborate courageously
· Learn and perform together at a higher level
Team facilitation can include having the Coach as observer in team interactions.
Essential Soft Skills (ESS) Workshops
There is only so much we can learn on our own. For that reason, small groups is a very effective setting to support meaningful learning that goes beyond the content at hand: it exposes us to different ways of seeing the world, invites a more agile mindset, helps develop shared meaning, and provides a more intimate setting for skills practice.
ESS Workshops are therefore effective and timely when full-scale training is not practical. Participants typically walk away with practical skills/ideas and a renewed sense of cooperation with colleagues.
We customize workshop content and design to meet the group's needs for improved "soft skills", which may involve:
· Communicating/expressing needs and views respectfully and assertively
· Giving and receiving feedback, coaching others and yourself
· Managing conflicts
· Collaborating more effectively
· Addressing disrespect in the workplace
· Dealing with "difficult people" (e.g., gossipers, "big" personalities, etc.)
· Preparing for potentially difficult conversations (e.g., performance discussion)
Workshops are typically 4 hours in length, for groups of up to 12 people.
Which aspect would be most helpful to open up first?
